Overview

Welcome to Chargeblast

We need a few pieces of info in order to get you set up.

Getting Set Up

For Ethoca (Mastercard) and CDRN (VISA) alerts, you as a merchant, are responsible for issuing refunds. Failure to issue a refund for an alert can result in a chargeback - additionally, the card networks are expecting these transactions are refunded, so if you only plan on refunding a portion of alerts please contact support for a custom integration.

Stripe Integration

To set up a Zap, go to the integrations page [here](https://app.chargeblast.io/integrations). You can also search for Chargeblast directly on Zapier.

Zapier Integration

You can push custom events to Klaviyo to build out segments and email marketing flows based on your Chargeblast alerts. To do this, go to the integrations tab and select Klaviyo, or click [here](https://app.chargeblast.io/integrations/klaviyo).

To set up the Mamopay Integration, simply log into your Mamopay account and paste in your API key into the Mamopay Integrations tab on Chargeblast [here](https://app.chargeblast.com/integrations/mamopay).

Within Checkout Champ, create a new API User, with the following scopes: `Update Order`, `Query Orders`, `Refund Order`, `Cancel Order`

Refund Endpoint

This page will help you get started with our webhooks.

Webhook

Upload orders to the chargeblast system. This will allow you to match disputes and chargebacks to the orders you have uploaded. Amount should be in cents, e.g. $19.99 => amount = 1999

Get all the alerts from your chargeblast account.

Fetch an Alert

Update the state of an alert to properly inform the banks of whether or not a refund will be issued. If an alert is left unactioned for 72 hours it will be automatically declined. For best results mark alerts as resolved within 24 hours of receiving them (some smaller banks will escalate quarantined transactions as soon as 24 hours within propogating an alert). While our API supports multiple updates, only the first response is respected by the banks.

Fetch all the descriptors for your merchants.

Fetch Descriptors

Enroll the merchant in a various alert program. If no merchant_id is specified a new merchant object will be automatically generated. For each alert program various info is required. For example, for Ethoca, only descriptors are. To see which info is required see [here](https://docs.chargeblast.io/reference/enrollment-criteria)

Enroll Merchant

Pass in a given descriptor_id to unenroll merchant's descriptor. Ethoca alerts take 48 hours to confirm unenrollment, RDR ~2 weeks, CDRN ~24 hours.
